ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Ken Finley, Unemployment Administrator

Ken has been in the workers’ compensation arena since 1991 representing employers’ interests. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati (go Bearcats!) with a BBA in Marketing and Management.

Since 1996 he has worked as a Risk Manager for V+A Risk Services, an Ohio third-party administrator for Workers’ and Unemployment Compensation. His career has included serving on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Staffing & Search Association (NW Ohio Regional Director), Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Workplace Regulations Committee and the Workers’ Comp Forum. Primarily, Ken is the first call for many of his clients to strategize next steps when injuries occur and financial forecasting of its premium impact. He speaks at OSSA, Safety Council and Chamber of Commerce functions, educating employers on this wacky world of workers’ comp.

Ken serves as Treasurer for the Jim Vassar Memorial Golf Tournament benefiting brain tumor research and lives in Pemberville with his wife and their 2 teenage daughters.
